Do I need to create an account?
No. Price alerts work entirely in your browser using the Web Notifications API. No signup, email, or personal information required.
How often is the price checked?
The Brent crude oil price is updated every 60 seconds. Your alert is checked against the latest price on each update cycle.
Will alerts work if I close the tab?
Alerts only work while the page is open in your browser. If you close the tab or navigate away, the alert will stop monitoring. Keep the tab open in the background for continuous monitoring.
Can I set multiple alerts?
Currently one alert at a time is supported. After an alert triggers, you can immediately set a new one.
Which commodities can I set alerts for?
Price alerts are available for Brent crude oil (USD per barrel). We plan to add alerts for WTI, natural gas, gold, and silver in the future.
